Celeb Mashup: Harry Mohney
I didn't know who Harry Mohney was when I started working at the Las Vegas location of Larry Flynt's Hustler Club in late 2014 . When hired, I thought maybe I'd get a chance to meet Larry Flynt. That sounded like a fun novelty, even though I knew he was a disgusting predatory woman abusing misogynist throughout his life. Unfortunately I never met Larry Flynt. I met Harry Mohney many times while working there though. I also met his ugly son Jason Mohney. While I usually like the look of gingers, the Mohney family are very sickly looking lizard people with cancerous freckles and translucent eyebrows, similar to the Flynts. It wasn't until after Harry Mohney sexually assaulted me in the workplace that I researched him and realized who he is. Harry Mohney founded Deja Vu. The Hustler clubs are a part of the Deja Vu empire. Many people in the strip club industry know who Harry Mohney is and think he is a cool guy for being an entrepreneur, as well as standing up for the first amendment.
When I say that Harry Mohney sexually assaulted me, I mean that he behaved like a drunken creepy Celtic grandpa in the workplace. He stumbled around stinking like whiskey, giving bear hugs and kisses. He slobbered his disgusting lips all over my cheeks at least once, possibly more times, while hugging me, after I simply walked by and said hello. It was so very disturbing to endure, that I included it in the sexual harassment claim of my multi-pronged lawsuit against Larry Flynt's Hustler Club. Hustler wasn't nearly as bad as Spearmint Rhino, but it was still awful and deserving of a lawsuit.
For my readers who are unaware, Deja Vu is the biggest chain of strip clubs in the United States and beyond. The corporation has been sued many times. It continues to misclassify and create a sexually hostile working environment for the women who work there. As I've mentioned in previous posts, getting sued is just the cost of doing business for clubs like Deja Vu. Many misclassifying factors and modern strip club practices were Harry Mohney's idea. I utterly hate him for being responsible for so much abuse, theft, exploitation, and degradation. He's on par with Brian Thompson as far as evilness goes. He deserves the worst.
Harry Mohney was a mostly jolly, drunken presence at Hustler. He didn't take part in the day to day management of the dancers. Hustler employed so many different losers with the “manager” title, that it was hard to keep track of them all. I do remember that the fat chicks hid from Harry when he was around, because he'd either have his managers put them on day shift only, or terminate their contracts if he thought they were too big. When I was hired at Hustler, I was required to wear a corset at all times for the first month or so, to hide my fat belly. Here’s Harry with Larry Flynt’s fat ugly brother, Jimmy Flynt:
When I worked at Hustler, the Las Vegas clubs were all abuzz about the Sapphire ruling, but I would've sued Hustler regardless. There's a Vice article somewhere on the internet about my Hustler lawsuit that connects the two events, but the Sapphire ruling was not something I thought about when deciding to sue Hustler. I signed with my lawyer Bob Spretnak a couple of months into 2015, but didn't actually serve Hustler until late Spring, because I was worried about getting fired. Between the time of signing with Bob and when Hustler got served, I made some dumb decisions regarding people I trusted. I had the Stripper Labor Rights Tumblr going at that time, and sent links to many dancers. I freely talked about stripper rights in my workplace with coworkers, and just sloppily mentioned issues of misclassification whenever I wanted to. I was very naive with regards to how many snitches there are in the world, and how much coworkers truly love taddling on rebels. My hope in humanity has significantly dropped since I started suing strip clubs, even though it wasn't very high to begin with. Before Hustler got served in the Spring of 2015, Harry Mohney stopped bothering me in the workplace with his gross hugs. He'd look at me fearfully and walk away if he saw me, which was nice. I've always wondered if it was because word of my incoming lawsuit got to him. As mentioned in previous posts, Hustler fired me in late Spring of 2015. I’d been fired from jobs many times before, but that was the first time I was advised to report it to an organization called The National Labor Relations Board.
Harry's son Jason seemed to handle most of the lawsuit stuff if a club representative was needed in the process. I never heard from Harry again, but am certain he is out there somewhere being evil.
